Great show. I thought they were able to give a good understanding of both the old and new cultures now colliding in the Russian prison system. Seeing the amount of control the staff has over the prisoners made me realize the amount of difference between Russian and American prisons (as I am used to watching American prison documentaries). I also couldn't help but to think that the Russian prisoners are holding things back because they do not want to get in trouble with the prison staff. Also the food that they had to eat was quite atrocious, although I realize that these guys (some) are there for some very serious crimes.
